Ann Widdecombe and two other Brexit Party figures have appeared numerous times on a radio show which has hosted conspiracy theorists and Holocaust deniers.

Ms Widdecombe, one of the party’s MEPs, appeared on the Richie Allen Show – which has links to conspiracy theorist David Icke – three times between August 2017 and April 2019.

During one appearance, the show’s host described the former Conservative shadow Home Secretary as an “old friend of the show”.

As revealed by anti-extremist group Hope Not Hate, David Bull MEP also featured on the show as recently as April, while Stuart Waiton, a prospective parliamentary candidate for the Brexit Party, made five appearances between June 2018 and May 2019.

The Richie Allen Show is an internet radio programme which has hosted promoted antisemitic conspiracy theories and Holocaust denial.

According to media reports, Ms Widdecombe’s first appearance on the show coincided with an appearance by Kevin Barrett, who has contributed to American Free Press, which has been attacked for disseminating antisemitic views.

The Richie Allen Show was originally broadcast on a website owned by David Icke, who has been accused of promoting conspiracy theories including that of “Rothschild-Zionism”, a supposed “secret society putting its agents in places of power”.

Earlier this year, Labour MP Alex Sobel described Mr Icke and Mr Allen as “fermenters of antisemitic thought”.

Mr Allen has also regularly hosted Nick Kollerstrom, a fringe commentator who has denied the existence of gas chambers and has disputed the Jewish death toll in Nazi extermination camps.

Alison Chabloz, who was convicted in 2018 for posting two “grossly offensive” antisemitic videos, including material mocking victims of the Holocaust, has also featured on the show.

A Brexit Party spokesman denounced Mr Icke, but said that he suspected "few would know who his contacts are".

He added: "Obviously we denounce antisemitism and racism of any stripe. I'd never heard of this show, or indeed any of its guests.

"I doubt that the guests were any the wiser. We are now."
