articlemain

1. BEN POLLINS (Brook Farm Rovers) - "pulled off some quality saves in the match to thwart us – the most notable ones were the one-on-one on the stroke of half-time, and a sprawling save with 10 minutes to go to deny us a match winner"

2. ROB SAMUELSON (Temple Fortune) - "did well, played a number of positions and gave a good account of himself"

3. TONY PLASKOW (Faithfold DocMM Green) - commanding performance against North West London Bears

4. SAMMY KINGSTON (HMH) - "what a free-kick but all round composure against one of best wingers in the league"

5. MAX FOSTER (HMH) - "a commanding performance is an understatement"

6. JOSH GORB (Hertswood Vale) - "a man who is on red-hot form today, and probably our only standout performer from our match today. Grabbed the opening goal of the game with a quality strike from 25 yards that left their keeper scrambling"

7. ZACK AMBALO (Hampstead Ducks) - "a brilliant player who controlled the whole game for 90 minutes. It was only his second appearance for the Ducks, but it is extremely clear that he could be playing at a much higher level. Capped an outstanding performance with a great goal"

8. JORDAN ASPIS (NL Galaxy) - "two absolute humdingers. The first was a bullet shot which rose like an arrow into the top right corner with a shot with his right foot and the second a class finish on his weaker right foot after a Cruyff turn inside from the left-hand side"

9. AARON GOLDMAN (Manchester Maccabi 1st) - scored seven times in the Manchester County Cup

10. OSCAR WAGNER (HMH) - "two goals and should have had a third but for Russ Corin"

11. YOAV KESTENBAUM (Faithfold DocMM White) - "didn’t get on the scoresheet but was just too much for Fairlop to handle. Faithfold’s Fimino if you like. Time and time again he won the ball, drove forward and allowed all the others around him to benefit, MOTM"

STAR MAN: Aaron Goldman (Manchester Maccabi 1st)

MANAGER: Avi Goldberg (HMH) - masterminded a comeback win over Hendon United Sports, did so by moving to strikers to full-backs. A tactical whizz!
