PETER MORRISON TROPHY FINAL

HAROLDEANS 1 HMH 4

Oscar Wagner (2), Ariel Rahamim and Alex Moss helped HMH win the Peter Morrison Trophy for the first time as they beat Haroldeans at Harrogate Town AFC.

Sam Kersh scored Haroldeans' consolation, in a game in which they failed to recover from the dismissal of captain Jack Goldsmith for a second yellow.

Jubilant HMH boss Avi Goldberg told JC Sport: “This is a very proud day for HMH football club and my lads. What a stunning end to a superb season."

Missing star goalkeeper Jared Clein, Haroldeans boss Mike Bloomberg admitted: “It was a bridge too far for us. He told JC Sport: “We didn’t turn up but even with HMH missing players, it’s clear they have better resources than us. They pressed up very high and used it very well. It’s hard to argue with the result."

BARRY GOLDSTEIN TROPHY FINAL

NORTH LONDON GALAXY 4 NORTH LONDON RAIDERS 2

Tyler Smith and Josh Cohen bagged braces as North London Galaxy completed their first season in style – with silverware after winning the North London derby at White Hart Lane.

Smith opened the scoring from the penalty spot before Raiders had Charlie Kasler sent off. Cohen double Galaxy’s lead before Raiders pulled one back in the second half. Smith restored Galaxy’s two-goal advantage before Raiders set up a grandstand finish with a second, but Cohen calmed Galaxy’s nerve with a fourth goal settling it in their favour.

Galaxy boss Luke Lewis told JC Sport: "We dominated throughout and our quality came through. We’ve got an incredible group of boys here, with great spirit and our 12th man the masses of fans that came to support us.”

Raiders joint-manager David Isaacs told JC Sport: "The result was hard to take. I’m extremely proud of the boys though and it’s a shame we couldn’t stay 11 against 11 on the pitch. We are all now looking forward to next season and hopefully coming back and going one step further in the cup.”

Chaim Korman (2), Zac Lewis, Mordy Weiler and Rocky Spitzer earned champions Hendon United a five-star win over Lions.

Charlie Cohen and Reiss Mogilner replied for the Lions.

Victorious Hendon boss Jordan Sapler told JC Sport: "It was a great way to end our season; we played some good football although there was a real end of season feel to the game, especially in the last 20 minutes where we attempted to help Rocky get the Golden Boot."

Lions joint-manager Max Kyte told JC Sport: "It was a really enjoyable game to be a part of, filled with chances. Trailing 2-1, Hendon came back strong and scored quickly after, then proceeded to score more, taking advantage of our dropped mentality. They are worthy title winners and having run the line for the game, I have to say they were probably the most intelligent, fluid and dangerous attacking force I’ve seen this year.”

LOS CAMDEN A 1 OAKWOOD A 3

Josh Pugh bagged a brace as Oakwood finished their campaign with a 3-1 win over Camden. David Woolman scored Oakwood's other goal.

Kristall told JC Sport: ""Our lack of game time since April along with a mix of A/B players didn't help our rhythm. Having said all that, we were five minutes away from retaining the Anekstein and would have won it had Cubes not seen red in difficult circumstances. We were also one minute away from knocking HMH out of the Morrison, where I felt decisions on that day cost us, so all in all, we are still competing. We have a busy summer ahead, lots of things to improve on but don't go writing us off for silverware next season."

David Khalatschi had opened the scoring for Camden after 20 minutes, before injuring himself in the process and going off. Boss Stirling Kay told JC Sport: "We lost Dave and were subsequently down to ten men and then had a player sent off 10 minutes later, meaning we had to play out the remainder of the match with nine men against a full Oakwood squad. The fact the scoreline remained respectable is credit to the boys who showed spirit and determination. We're looking forward to being in touch next season."
