YOUR WEEKEND PREVIEW STARTS HERE:
PETER MORRISON TROPHY QUARTER-FINAL
NORTH LONDON RAIDERS A vs NORTH LONDON RAIDERS B
Back-to-back winners Raiders A are bang in form and they go into Sunday’s huge cup derby as hot favourites.
It’s been a case of slowly, slowly for Dan Shafron’s boys but they are finally firing on all cylinders … just ask SPEC FC.
Jonny Kay produced one of the performances of the season in last week’s 12-0 mauling of Ricky Lawrence’s troops – an aggregate 18-0 win over the two games in the space of a week.
But Shafron and co know the B-team will be looking to end their hopes of a return trip to Wingate & Finchley.
Ahead of kick-off, Shafron told JC Sport: “This is obviously a great occasion for the club but all niceties will be saved for after the final whistle.
“We've clicked into gear since our good win in Manchester and it's important that we don't chance undoing that hard work now.
“Winning on Sunday and booking a place in the semi-final will be a big enough incentive for my boys and I fully expect us to be positive and ruthless in our approach.”
The B’s were down to the bare bones last weekend when they were put to the sword 5-1 by Lions B. But I’m sure managers Jonny Adelman and Zack Gothelf will have a special plan up their sleeves in a bid to stop the league’s most potent attacking line-up.
Ben Ellis, David Dinkin, Matt Stock, Liron Mannie, Nyv Bogaire, Oscar Wagner and Nick Lewis would frighten the living daylights out of any defence with their combination of pace, power and movement so it’s hard to see this being too much of a contest to be honest.
The Morrison is the one trophy that has eluded Raiders A thus far. It would be a major statement of intent if Shafron came up trumps in his first season and go a long way to silencing any doubters who have written them off.
POSSIBLE SQUADS:
NLR A (from): Jake Doffman, Alex Bloch, Josh Morris, David Rhodes, JJ Spiro, Jonny Kay, Nick Lewis, Oscar Wagner, Joe Cohen, Dave Cohen, Jono Rochwerger, Alex Moss, Ben Ellis, David Dinkin, Matt Stock, Liron Mannie, Nyv Bogaire, Jonathan Green, Adam Joselyn, Adam Gold
NLR B (from): David Simnock, Ben Sheldon, Matt Leader, Mark Leader, Lewis Blitz, Anthony Goodmaker, Anthony Shaw, Danny Bloom, Charles Braunstein, Jake Gilbert, Alex Goodman, Elad Hertshten, Jack Roberts, Josh Alswang, Toby Katz, Sam Shooter, Will Ufland, Ziv Berreby

HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB A vs SPEC FC
Hendon are missing some of their big-hitters but I still expect them to register a handsome win over basement battlers SPEC FC.
More than anything, their pride has been dented by back-to-back defeats against table-toppers Oakwood, but they have too much quality and too many characters in the squad to feel sorry for themselves.
Having been linked with the Arsenal job following their brutal Champions League battering in Munich, David Garbacz has yet to indicate his plans for next season. But he gave an honest assessment of how his players are feeling right now.
“After the disappointment of the Oakwood results we have two choices – either to give up on the season and go through the motions or continue to fight until we are mathematically out of the race,” Garbacz told JC Sport. “Knowing the team as I do it is option two that seems the more desirable by a long way.
“It is the old cliché but it literally is to take each game now as they come and in a way the pressure is off and we can just go and enjoy ourselves.
“First and foremost we need to win – any win will do and I don’t care if its 1-0 or 20-0, we need to get back to winning ways.
“On paper we should be able to do that this week but SPEC will still be fighting for their lives so we know it won’t be easy.”
Credit to the SPEC FC supporters. No-one is calling for Ricky Lawrence’s head despite the fact the team has won only once this season.
They were destroyed 12-0 by Raiders last weekend and it wouldn’t surprise me if Lawrence and co tried to double park the bus against a wounded Hendon side.
Lawrence told JC Sport: “After last week, things can't get much worse.
“Hendon may be trying to boost their goal difference, but we'll be doing all we can to perform a giant-killing."
As for my prediction, I fear a right hiding for SPEC.
JC team news: Yehuda Korman, Rocky Spitzer, Yoav Kestenbaum and Moses Seitler are all unavailable for Hendon. Russell Corin, Ben Kon, Avi Korman and Simon Peterman return.
POSSIBLE SQUADS:

BRADY MACCABI vs REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A
I understand Redbridge boss Jon Jacobs has been spending much of the week watching our footage of Brady’s defeat against Lions Masters in the Peter Morrison Trophy last weekend.
He would’ve noted the performance of Sam Monjack, who set up Brady’s opener, and Reiss Mogilner who was only denied a hat-trick by the reflexes of Russell Corin. And whoever plays in goal for RJC would’ve seen that Mogilner hit his respective penalties in opposite directions, although the first one wasn’t as convincing a strike as Mogilner would’ve hoped for.
It’s hard to believe RJC have only played one league match in 2017. There was also the epic Peter Morrison Trophy tie against South Manchester, which they lost on penalties, but they have an incredible seven matches in hand on leaders Oakwood, whom they currently lie 17 points behind, so there is no margin for error on Sunday.
Redbridge definitely have the players capable of making a title push, with a fully fit Dean Nyman looking to make up for lost time. He registered four times in the thumping 7-1 win over Camden and he will be looking to make a big impression at a ground RJC lost at on their last visit.
Brady have little more than pride to play for now with their hopes of silverware over for another season. It’s hard to see them finishing any higher than sixth, but revenge will be on their agenda after going down 4-2 to Redbridge in October.
The head to head between Sam Sollosi and Mogilner will be worth the admission fee alone in what is effectively a must-win for the visitors. And I think they will get the job done.
POSSIBLE SQUADS:
BRADY (from): Josh Miller, Jordan Nathan, Henry Ziff, Dan Cohen, David Cohen, Eli Dagul, Brad Dryer, Reiss Mogilner, Sam Monjack, Ben Kohler, Sam Castle, Ricky Rinder, Dan Harrod, Josh Newman, Casey Sharpe
RJC (from): Jay Jaffa, Dan Lee, James Berkley, Russell Goldstein, Zack Neiman, Adam Hakimi, Danny Hakimi, Nate Kashket, Sam McCarthy, Darryl Rubin, Nathan Sollosi, Daniel Garfinkle, Steve Summers, Dean Nyman, Ben Sollosi, Scott Oldstein, Russell Goldstein

FC TEAM A vs MACCABI LONDON LIONS A
Lions are chasing a top three finish as well as both cup competitions and they go into Sunday’s meeting with FC Team in top shape.
Any early season problems have now been forgotten about but they will be determined to erase memories of the 2-1 defeat at the hands of Mitch Young’s men. Connor Perl and Andrei Grayson were the scorers that day.
Since beating SPEC, FC Team have conceded 13 goals in their last two league outings. They have been found wanting time and again at the back this season and have yet to keep a clean sheet.
This will be music to the ears of the offensive players in the Lions line-up who I’m tipping to clinch their eighth league win.
POSSIBLE SQUADS:
FC TEAM (from): Ed Bloom, David Gordon, Dan Breger, Andrei Grayson, Gary Hill, James Milman, Danny Moss, Connor Perl, Adam Rones, Richard Salmon, Jason Wood, Mitch Young, Eddie Sternberg
LIONS (from): James Gershfield, Declan Green, Will Beresford, Nick Smith, Alex Taylor, Richard Gold, Ryan Springer, Ben Lampert, Oli Craig, Max Hassell, Jamie Jackson, Harry Marlow, Sam Sloma, Alex Rose, Elliot Stern, Adam Arnold, Adam Burchell, Max Kyte, Adam Stolerman, Sam Arghebant, James Gold, Udi Amiel, James Gershfield

HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB B vs REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE B
It is hard to stop Redbridge B at the moment. Several teams have tried and failed in the league, but only Faithfold were successful in denying them maximum points thus far. I can’t see Hendon B getting close to them.
Ben Chernoff (2), Anthony Cope and Adam Goldman were the scorers when RJC beat Hendon 4-2 at the beginning of the season, but I expect things to be more comfortable for them second time around.
Last week’s win over promotion rivals Finchley was a real statement of intent from Sam Rank’s troops. They are clearly trying to get as many people in and around Dean Ben Yosef and they have improved as an attacking force week after week.
Daniel Bean showed real star quality alongside Joe Jordan and Kane Hopps and Marchant will be looking for a similar performance level in north-west London.
Ahead of kick-off, RJC boss Sam Rank told JC Sport: "It was important we got back to business with an impressive performance against Finchley.
"The boys will not take Hendon lightly, they will come out quickly and get the game done and dusted by half-time.
"We're looking forward to this game, and bringing the points back to Essex."
Hendon haven’t scored in over 270 minutes. Joint-manager Jono Nesbitt told me after 5-0 defeat by Scrabble his players will “continue to give our best in each game” but that won’t be enough to stop a rampant Redbridge.
JC team news: RJC B will be missing Dean Ben Yosef, but will have a full-strength squad to choose from.
POSSIBLE SQUADS:
HENDON (from): Yehuda Fink, Gideon Barth, Marc Benamram, Gideon Gale, Oliver Garbacz, Stuart Harris, Ezekiel Jacob, James Neidle, Jono Nesbitt, Matan Ozin, Gabriel Saul, Daniel Holder, Adam Glekin, Ronen Weinstein

LOS BLANCOS vs OAKWOOD B
Revenge is a dish best served cold. I’m struggling to remember who said that but no doubt it will be in Jason Stein’s pre-match teamtalk ahead of the clash against Blancos.
I expected Oakwood to be pushing for honours this season, but a mid-table finish is on the cards after a string of poor results.
Indeed Stein is determined to set the record straight. He told JC Sport: “Morning DC, welcome back to my office. I know it's been a while.
"We're back at it against Los Blancos and gunning to avenge a very painful 3-2 defeat in December. That defeat was my lowest moment at Oakwood.
“We've not done ourselves justice this season. The B-team came into 2016/17 with lofty ambitions and we've failed to meet those expectations.
“It's now my responsibility and the responsibility of all the players to right our wrongs.
"We've got seven games left. Seven opportunities to prove all the naysayers wrong and give a real account of ourselves."
Blancos have lost their last four – albeit against teams pushing for a top two finish. But it’s important they approach the Oakwood game with no fear and play with the handbrake off.
The pushed a strong Scrabble team all the way last time out and manager Nick Grosse will feel this is definitely a game they can get something from.
POSSIBLE SQUADS:
BLANCOS (from): Nick Grosse, Joel Barnett, Joshua Cramer, Sam Cramer, Joseph Davis, Svi Freedman, Benjy Israel, Avishai Kestenbaum, Joel Kutner, Louie Libbert, Elliott Moslawy, Mitch Green, Jeff Gross
OAKWOOD (from): Harris Kersh, Danni Dennison, James Frener, Dan Linton, Jan Katuscak, James Abrams, Ben Annis, Ben Buck, Max Clynes, Dan King, Ben Loofe, Sam Modlin, Aaron Searle, Daniel Seligman, Daniel Selwyn, Marc Hyamson, Rafi Bloom

MACCABI LONDON LIONS B vs FINCHLEY CITY
I’m a big Bob Marley fan and suggest Finchley City play ‘Redemption Song’ in the changing room prior to their important game against league leaders Lions B.
Manager Joel Holder welcomes back some keys players as they look to close the 10-point gap on a Lions team they have three games in hand on.
Speaking to JC Sport this week, Holder told JC Sport: “We were all quite deflated on Sunday after the Redbridge game, but we have the chance to redeem ourselves against Lions this week.
“We know Lions are in good form at the moment, but we have a very strong squad available.
“I think the boys need to go out and prove we can consistently compete against the big teams in the division.
“We need to try and replicate recent performances against Scrabble. Unfortunately, we have suffered a minor blip, but there is no game better then Lions at Rowley Lane to show we are still contenders for promotion.
“Lions have probably been the most difficult opposition we have faced all season. However, I am hoping the return of Gaon, Sade and Sinclair will galvanise the team and help us get back to winning ways.”
The Lions are on a fantastic run and they looked like champions in their 5-1 demolition of Raiders B last weekend.
Dean Rosenthal was the stand-out performer, while Michael Kenley produced the moment that got one or two fans off their seats with the JC Goal of the Week.
Benji Weinberger makes the midfield engine room tick over while the roles of Zac Rose, Ben Winters and top-scorer Josh Bloom cannot be under-estimated.
If the teams go at it toe to toe, they will be in for a real treat.
POSSIBLE SQUADS:
LIONS (from): James Harpin, Nathan Anders, Dan Green, Sammy Kingston, Daniel Behar, Ed Brafman, Charlie Cohen, Daniel Fattal, Dom Feldman, Benji Weinberger, Elia Cohen, Michael Kenley, Josh Bloom, Dean Rosenthal, Adam Abadi, Sean Ekon, Ben Winters, Harry Kurlander, Guy Surkis, Zack Linden
FINCHLEY (from): Yossi Lanning, Josh Aziz, Shim Bensoor, Eli Davila, Josh Gaon, Josh Kanter, Rafi Kon, Gabriel Krieger, Oliver Sade, Daniel Sinclair, Jono Gaon, Dan Polak, Moshe Fehler, Daniel Kozielek, Sam Leader

SCRABBLE FC vs FAITHFOLD A
Ray Abrahams has Scrabble exactly where he wants them . They welcome Faithfold on Sunday looking for their fifth straight win and they are now in a great position in the top three.
Abrahams has “no new injury worries for Sunday” as they look to maintain the momentum following Josh Bharier’s last-minute win against Los Blancos last Sunday.
Dan Stock kept things tight at the back, while midfielders Sam Stead, Elliot Espinoza, Dan Green and the versatile Adam Waters produced the goods in midfield. And striker Danny Sherman put in another all-action performance.
With home advantage, Scrabble supporters will be confident of league win number nine. Boss Ray Abrahams told JC Sport: "The manner in which we beat Blancos last week says everything about the attitude and commitment of this squad.
“The boys are determined to make it five straight wins on Sunday and our form over the past few weeks has given the whole squad a huge boost of confidence.
“The teams involved at the top of this division are all good sides and will not drop many points.
“All we can do is concentrate on winning our remaining games and pick up as many points as we can. We can't worry what other teams do. Hopefully at the end of the season we will have enough points to get promoted.”
I’m sure Abrahams will remind his players before kick-off that Faithfold recently took points off Redbridge B to ensure complacency isn’t an issue.
He went on to say: “This week's game against Faithfold will be a tough one and like last week against Blancos we will be facing a side that likes to play good football so it should be a classic."
This is the first in a series of three tough matches against teams vying for promotion for Faithfold. They ended their scoring drought against Redbridge last time out, but I have a feeling they will find things much tough against Scrabble.
Faithfold will not come forward in numbers to allow the Scrabble to counter-attack, and also because Ray Abrahams’ side are now a real scalp and I’m tipping them to preserve their unbeaten league record.
JC team news: Zac Summerfield returns to the Scrabble squad.
POSSIBLE SQUADS:
SCRABBLE (from): Ben Law, Rob Blackman, Adam Waters, Daniel Stock, Elliott Espinoza, Daniel Green, Brandon Sassoon, Josh Bharier, Danny Sherman, Sam Stead, Zac Summerfield, Josh Pugh

DIVISION TWO
BOCA JEWNIORS vs NORTH LONDON RAIDERS C
It is hard to stop Raiders at the moment. And on Sunday they go to Boca searching for their fifth win in six matches.
Although they have played more matches than anyone else in the division, last week’s glorious 4-2 triumph over RC UK FC tells you just how solid an outfit they have become. They are a truly effective and efficient unit.
The experience of Adam Leveson and Jonny Blain helped them bounce back from a freak result against Mill Hill Dons, and this is a game where in-form striker Alex Elf will definitely be looking to fill his boots.
NLR manager Sam Rose told JC Sport: “We're looking to continue our good end of season form after a great win last week.
“Although our game against Boca was extremely one-sided at the start of the season, we won't be taking the game lightly and our boys will be switched on to go for goals straight from the off."
Boca felt the luck went against them against Catford last week. They have generally struggled against the teams in the top half and it’s important they stay in this game for as long as possible.
JC team news: NLR have a near fully-fit squad now, with Rob Samuelson and Nick Harringman returning.
POSSIBLE SQUADS:
BOCA (from): Will Martyn, Joshua Cinna, Oliver Kyte, Jamie Leboff, Joseph Leigh, Michael Myers, Anton Nyman, Ben Retter, Michael Rosenthal, Brett Schuman, Jonathan Winton, Matt Davis, Sam Simon, Benjamin Lederman

CATFORD & BROMLEY MACCABI vs FAITHFOLD B
Faithfold's promotion hopes are over following four consecutive defeats and with Catford's tails up, there's every chance of a fifth on Sunday.
The Greens have suffer a real-life hangover since the New Year, although the fixture list hasn't been kind, with defeats to RC UK FC, Raiders, Fortune and title favourites L'Equipe.
They beat the Cats 2-1 in the autumn but will need to rediscover their best form in order to complete a league double.
Catford now lie just a point behind them following their 2-0 triumph over Boca.
Their bad spell lasted much longer than Faithfold's, although player-manager Jeff Gotch is now targeting a strong finish, which is bad news for Faithfold fans.
Gotch told JC Sport: "We're looking to continue the good run and keep the consistency in the team.
Defending has been our priority recently and its working – we will always score so needed to tighten up."
Neither side has had an issue scoring this season and that's why I'm backing the score draw.
POSSIBLE TEAMS:
CATFORD (from): Guy Ben-Aroya, Tal Cohen, Jerome Colmans, Jordan Grant, Joel Lassman, Joe Levy, Callion MacGregor, Adam Parker, Yarden Sharon, Jason Shoffman, Jeff Gotch
FAITHFOLD (from): David Garson, Daniel Abrams, Josh Barnett, Ben Kfir, Sam Garson, David Benaim, Avi Garson, JJ Marrache, Michael Patterson, James Stanton, Jeremy Teacher, Tomer Weider, Oliver Weingarten

HERTSWOOD VALE vs REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE C
Redbridge has climbed into second position virtually unnoticed. All the talk has been about Temple Fortune and RC UK FC being L'Equipe's biggest rivals, but that probably suited Josh Hambling and his merry men.
But I believe they are in for a tough morning against a Hertswood team riding on the crest of a wave following their terrific victory over the Dons.
James Millet produced one of the division's finest performances of the season, and capped it off with a goal, while hot-shot Josh Cohen reminded everyone of his quality in front of goal. There was also another strong showing from Ashley Hirschberger who has been linked with a summer move to one of the big boys, but more on that later.
It took them a long time to register their first win. Now they are going for their biggest scalp since joining the league.
Joint-manager Jacob Emanuel told JC Sport: "We're hoping to build on last week's result with another solid performance against a Redbridge team that we are yet to face this season.
“Having said that, it's not hard to predict that we will face a strong outfit on Sunday morning.
“Even though we only picked up our first league win last Sunday, our last five results in the league have allowed us to begin showing our true colours to the rest of the league.
“A point against promotion hopefuls Temple Fortune and narrowly missing out on a victory against L’Equipe should act as warning shots to Redbridge.
“Our target for the rest of the season is clear - get as many points as possible. Boca we're coming for you!”
Redbridge's last few performances have been unconving so if they defend properly and show good application I can see Hertswood coming away with at least a point.
JC team news: Once again, there will be a number of changes for Hertswood. Last week's man-of-the-match James Millet, Harry Graham and Jordan Harris return to university, whilst Ashley Hirschberger and Elio Elia miss out with romantic trips away to Amsterdam and Edinburgh respectively. In come Ollie Brill, Johnny Schogger, Ben Mandel and Josh Gorb looking to fill the void, whilst there are rumours for a starting role up front for Jack Shulman.
POSSIBLE SQUADS:
HERTSWOOD (from): Yaacov Goldin, Ollie Brill, Danny Feuer, Adrian Leibovitch, Josh Wood, Adam Cohen, Josh Webber, Joshua Goodman, Jack Shulman, Johnny Schogger, Ben Mandel, Josh Gorb
REDBRIDGE (from): Scott Shear, Jimmy Castle, Joshua Cohen, Jacob Kaye, James Law, Rafe Neiman, Ben Oldstein, Craig Phillips, Jordan Sapler, Matt Zartz, Lee Cutler, Dan Lipman, Amir Nathan

REAL HENDON vs L’EQUIPE
Perennial party-poopers Real Hendon will be looking to bust coupons up and down the land when they welcome runaway leaders L’Equipe.
Chaim Gothold’s boys belied their lowly league position last weekend when they gave promotion-chasing Temple Fortune a major scare.
REAL
Short on numbers which is a shame but we will give it our best shot.
The L’Equipe boys could not believe their luck when they saw the results filtering in on the JC vidiprinter. Temple Fortune slipped up, as did RC UK, against all the odds, and their 11-point lead remains intact.
Nick Stern's boys are one of the real success story of the season. They have been scoring goal for fun in recent weeks and blown most of their opponents away, by playing to their strengths.
There are many candidates for Division 2 Player of the Season in the L'Equipe camp. Several players have been chipping in with goals, which makes a huge difference, while Andy Smith and Max Martin have been consistent in and around the penalty area.
I don't think it with be as straightforward as some are predicting on Sunday. This is a real banana skin for L’Equipe, mark my words.
POSSIBLE SQUADS:
REAL (from): Dov Owen, Rafi Addlestone, Ben Cohen, Richard Cohen, Benjamin Goldberg, Chaim Gothold, Yossi Hoffman, Motty Korman, Zvi Noe, Hezzie Raymond, Benni Sluckis, Chaim Strom
L’EQUIPE (from): Ian Baron, Grant Bates, James Bell, Marc Glucksman, Josh Lewis, James Mandell, Max Martin, Mark Singer, Andy Smith, Mark Smith, Nick Stern, Jonny Kay, Mark Korn, David Prager, Rob Simons
