DANNY CARO'S GOAL OF THE WEEK - JAKE GILBERT
---------------------------------
---------------------------------
THE CONTENDERS
- GAB SAUL (Hendon B) - resh off a wonderful free-kick the previous week, Saul produced another moment of magic, hitting a peach of a free-kick high into the Boca net to claim all three points
- YOEL DEAL (King Crown) - a lovely move with Deal and Adam Nusenbaum playing a glorious one-two, with Nusenbaum back-healing the ball in the box to Deal who latched on to it and smashed in the back of the net
- DOVI VOGEL (London Rovers) - GOAL 1 - a fantastic finish over the keeper after a great pass from Josh Bharier
- JESS ALEXANDER (Jewdinese) - his goal was truly sensational, a right-foot volley from 30 yards into the top right corner
- JAKE GILBERT (NL Raiders B) - an absolutely worldy bicycle kick from a Ben Sheldon cross
- DANIEL PIKE (SPEC FC) - a super 25-yard free-kick
- JOEY LAZARE (Harmen) - the Manchester-born striker made it three goals in three off the bench - finishing in the top corner from the edge of the area when others would have blasted over
---------------------------------
---------------------------------
DANNY CARO'S SAVE OF THE WEEK
SAM SINGER (Brady Maccabi) - crucial penalty save on the stroke of half-time, with his team trailing Redbridge B 2-0
---------------------------------

DANNY CARO'S QUOTE OF THE WEEK - JASON STEIN
---------------------------------
---------------------------------
THE CONTENDERS
- ADAM GLEKIN (Hendon B) - "When the free kick was awarded, I said to Gab I thought it was a bit too far out and we might be better crossing it. He said he felt it was worth a go, so I went with that and said he should have a crack - a wonderful managerial decision if I may say so myself!"
- MAX SAUNDERS (Camden Park) - "If I could nominate the whole team for team of the week I would, as everyone deserves a mention. I think today we proved that we are a Premiership team and we will do everything to ensure we are back there next season"
- JACOB KADOCH (King Crown) - "It was our worst performance of the season - we looked physically jaded and mentally not 100 per cent. Positives are another clean sheet and we won playing nowhere near the level we are capable of"
- JASON STEIN (Oakwood B) - QUOTE 1 - "All this game missed was Ashley Cole lobbing a pizza at Sir Alex Ferguson of Govan. It was more bad tempered than a 73-year-old lady who has been served cold chips in Whitehouse. And while I'm trying to make light of a bad situation, both sides need to take accountability. We're playing again in three weeks time and I'm afraid I might need a bulletproof Eavesway coach, 14 sets of Dr Dre"
- JASON STEIN (Oakwood B) - QUOTE 2 - "The ref was perhaps overawed by the ill-feeling between the sides. I know they have one of the hardest jobs going - although surgeons, Mossad agents and pilots don't exactly have it easy"
- JON JACOBS (Redbridge JC B) - "I think you learn more about your team in defeat and this has been a salutary lesson in not killing a game off when they had the chance"
- RICKY LAWRENCE (SPEC FC) - "Whilst we could argue that neither side deserved to lose the game, Jake Gilbert's second goal was worthy of winning any game. Genuinely the best goal I've seen in Jewish football"
- JOEY LAZARE (Harmen) - the Manchester-born striker made it three goals in three off the bench - finishing in the top corner from the edge of the area when others would have blasted over
- DAVID GORDON (FC Team C) - "With a lot of new players coming in during the summer, everyone is still getting to know one another, yet we have three wins out of three in the league and I couldn’t ask for much more than that as this point. At the same time I still think there is much more to come from this team"
