Here is my Division One master-class from Matchday 6 of the MGBSFL.
1. SAM SINGER (Brady Maccabi) - "Brady's outstanding player of the season was at his best again, making some great saves to keep Brady in the game in the first half" against RJC B
2. DAVID KANZEN (Camden Park) - "after a number of injuries David has to fill in at RB today and did more than a job for the team. He looked like a seasoned full back, defending with aggression and always providing a composed outlet going forward
3. NICKY SHINDER (Athletic Bilbaum) - "joint-player-manager put in a fantastic performance, his first full 90 minutes this season. Not a single ball went over him and not a single man went past him. His goal-line clearance capped office a solid game"
4. MICHAEL KHALASTCHI (Camden Park) - "man-of-the-match against Neasden, Michael was back to his imperious best. Commanding in the air, dominant in the tackle and composed on the ball - a perfect all-round performance from the centre-back" in the Anekstein Cup shock"
5. ADAM SPECK (Blizzard Storm) - "skipper lead by example. Superb performance"
6. MIKE HERSHMAN (NL Raiders B) - "played out of position in centre midfield against SPEC FC, was immense, he literally didn't stop motoring for the whole 90"
7. OLI HENRY (Blizzard Storm) - ""ran the match, best game yet. Everything went through Oli, Blancos could not handle him"
8. RICHARD SILVER (Camden Park) - "Richard carried on his brilliant form from last week, bagging two goals today. His second especially was extremely pleasing as it showed signs of Richard back to his clinical best"
9. ROB HERSHKORN (Camden Park) - "Rob pulled the strings today in a deeper role in central midfield and was the impetus for most our attacking play. His vision was on point and he provided a creative outlet throughout the 90"
10. JAKE GILBERT (NL Raiders B) - SEE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
11. JAMES JOSEPH (Brady Maccabi) - "second-half game-changer," according to RJC B boss Jon Jacobs. "Moved into the Ozil role at half time and linked up superbly with Sam Monjack. Was at the heart of all of Brady's good attacking play in the second half"
