Schwartz, 16, looking to go up another level

articlemain

Daniel Schwartz aims to continue his rise up in the ranks in Welsh rugby.

The Cardiff-born teenager is on the books of the Cardiff Blues and hopes to be starring for Wales under-18s.
Schwartz, 16, has enjoyed a meteoric rise in a short space of time.

And he appears to have developed the knack of scoring tries — even though he has spent most of his career in the font-row.

Schwartz crossed five teams for Blues’ under-16 side this season and also weighed in for his country in a warm-up game.

After catching the eye at the Wellington Festival, he was rewarded with a squad spot against England where he was presented with his jersey and cap.
