As part of National Letter of Intent (NLI) Signing Day across the USA - when all prospective Soccer Scholars sign for their college teams - Rabstein, a Year 13 student and deputy head boy at Immanuel College, confirmed his allegiance to the Oklahoma university.

Rabstein started playing football aged six as a goalkeeper for Maccabi London Lions FC, under the management and guidance of Simon Zamet. He has since gone on to represent Maccabi Great Britain at the European Maccabi Games, helping the team to a gold medal, and he was then selected to join U18 GB team  at the Maccabiah Games in Israel last summer.

He joined Wingate and Finchley FC in August, playing for the U23s and the first team, against the likes of Barnet FC in the FA Youth Cup. He has also been scouted by Yeovil Town FC, where he played his first professional match against Portsmouth under-18’s. Rabstein wil join the Riverhawks at the beginning of August.

Ahead of his move to the America, Reuben said: “I’m really excited to be joining the Riverhawks because of the fresh and exciting programme they have.

“Coaches and players care about each other and embody the Oklahoma spirit. I am delighted to be studying abroad and am looking forward to immersing myself in the sports culture that is so profound in American society.”
