Tributes have been coming in for Maccabi League referee Michael "Mickey" Mark, who passed away last week.
A lower league official, Mark, 71, was scheduled to officiate at a friendly last weekend but died three days earlier after collapsing on his way to Regent's Park.
He was involved with the league for more than 40 years after initially joining Brixton. He refereed for more than seven years.
League chairman David Wolff paid tribute, saying: "It's a devastating blow not only to his family but to everyone in the MSFL. Mickey was a very affable man.
"No-one ever had a bad word to say about him. He was a real gentleman."
Mr Mark of Pinner is survived by wife Diane and children Jeremy and Niki.
