It was the final day of action and there was no better way to sign off than with the Men's Open Football Final, where the Brits took on the Americans....

That's it. Our sports editor Danny Caro is on his way back to Tel Aviv, but has been watching the final and says: "It's all over with Team GB crashing to a 3-0 defeat, failing to recover from their nightmare start. But a silver medal is not to be scoffed at." He should know - he's bringing back the silver he won in the cricket.

79: 3-0 to USA. It's game over for Team GB as tired legs see them caught on the break.

50: GOAL 2-0 USA. It goes from bad to worse for Team GB as USA extend their lead. It's not looking too good for Andy Landesberg's men.

20 mins in: Not the start Andy Landesberg's side would have wanted in their gold medal match. Team GB are down to 10 men after Max Kyte is sent off for a late challenge on the USA goalkeeper. To add insult to injury, the Americans have also taken the lead.

SILVER MEDAL ALERT

A creditable silver medal for the Junior netball players of Maccabi Team GB, losing the final to Australia 51-27.

Team GB also lose to favourites Australia 39-28 in the Open Women's Netball to take home the silver medal.

GOLD MEDAL ALERT

Emma Garber's will to win saw her collect gold in the Women's Iron Man event.

SILVER MEDAL ALERT

Masters Tennis

Heartache for Diana Gold as she is forced to settle for silver  following an epic battle in her gold medal match. After Gold won the first set 6-4, her South African opponent finally ground her down, 4-6, 7-10,  to take her down in a marathon battle.

Football

Team GB Under 18 and Under 16s both tasted defeats in their final games, losing 4-3 to Spain and 1-0 to Argentina respectively. Flag bearer Jack Mattey was among the scorers in the thriller with Argentina.

Football U16

Team GB 2-4 South Africa

Defeat for Team GB sees them miss out on a bronze medal.
