Lederman wins top prize at London Maccabi Vale awards

Neil Lederman won London Maccabi Vale’s Player of the Year award at the club’s AGM.

Lederman, who is captain of the Rowley Lane team, enjoyed a good season with the ball in the their first year in the top tier of the Chess Valley League. He finished the season as the division's leading wicket-taker.

Rafi Saville was awarded the “Champagne Moment” accolade for his match-winning innings against UCS Old Boys, which he ended with a six.

Teenager Rayno Greenwall Cohen collected the Most Improved Player for his excellent displays with the new ball.

Anthony Wise, who heads LMV’s colts section, won the Alan Shapiro Clubman of the Year award in recognition of his outstanding services.

The club have confirmed that winter nets for the colts section (Under-11, 13 and 15 teams) will begin on January 21, 2019 in Borehamwood. For further details, contact Anthony Wise at anthonywisey@aol.com.
