Special needs charity Kisharon’s school has been rated “good” by Ofsted in its first inspection since becoming a free school and moving to new Hendon premises in 2020.

Ofsted said the school’s leaders had created an innovative and ambitious curriculum with Kodesh studies interwoven with other subjects.

Significant changes to its operations had made a positive difference to the children’s development.

Pupils were proud to be part of a contented and inclusive community and “many parents and carers expressed high levels of praise for the school’s work. They can see the difference the school is making to their children’s lives.”

Sixthformers provided "excellent role models" for younger children, Ofsted said.

Head teacher Dr Emily Haddock said pupils were “fortunate to have a staff team that cares endlessly about their education and welfare.

“It was amazing for Ofsted to recognise so clearly the difference our team makes to the lives of our children.”
