Kennet joins Hapoel Bnei Lod on loan

articlemain

Josh Kennet has joined Hapoel Bnei Lod from Maccabi Herzliya on a six-month deal.

Mill Hill born Kennet, whose contract with fellow Liga Leumit club Herzliya was due to expire this summer, rejected offers from two other Israeli clubs.

Josh's father, Eilon, who manages London Maccabi Lions A, said: "Unfortunately Josh has not had the best of luck with injuries this past year and has not played as many games as he would have liked.

"There will be an option for both Josh and Lod to look at extending the deal at the end of the campaign."
