articlemain

Ran Kadoch has become the first Israeli goalkeeper to sign for an English club after joining League 2 Barnet.

The 22-year-old stopper, who holds a French passport, has joined from Nes Ziona following a spell with Hapoel Ranana.

He had a trial at Oldham Athletic but was snapped up by Bees boss Paul Fairclough after playing the second half in friendlies against Watford and Leeds.

Kadoch will not debut against Brentford tomorrow as his papers have not arrived.

The player's agent, Lee Earl said: "Ran is very driven. I would like to thank Simon Corney and Mel Stein for helping to make it happen."

Full story will appear in next week's JC.
