This tart is so easy to make. You can even use a ready-made pastry case and have a finished tart in minutes. It has a texture a little like treacle tartand goes beautifully with sour cream or Greek yoghurt.

Ingredients
175g plain flour
A pinch of salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp caster sugar
75gg butter, chilled and cubed
1 egg yolk
Fridge cold water to mix
For the filling:
100g unsalted butter
115g caster sugar
2 Granny Smith apples
1 tsp lemon juice
2 large eggs, beaten
60g flaked almonds (optional)
