These delicious little parcels are quick and easy as they rely on won ton wrappers, rather than making your own dough.
Method
Finely shred the beef shin removing and discarding any connective tissue.
Add the fried onion and chopped liver and combine well with the shin.
Taste and season with salt and pepper.
Take one won ton wrapper and place a teaspoon of the mixture in the centre of the wrapper. Brush the edge of the wrapper with water and fold over to make a semicircle pinching the edges together well to form a seal.
Simmer the kreplach in salted water for approximately 10-15 minutes before adding them to the soup.
