Serves: 8-10

The M&S Collection caramelised pecans take this honey-flavoured bake to the next level especially paired with the juicy M&S natural jumbo raisin medley. The fruit gives it an old-fashioned flavour — almost like a Rosh Hashanah version of a cherry Madeira loaf.

The scattering of finely chopped nuts gives the cake a professional edge if you’re making it as a host gift, but you can leave the top bare if you prefer.

Ingredients

190g (7oz) M&S Remarksable unsalted butter
190g (7oz) M&S Fairtrade golden caster sugar
3 M&S medium free-range eggs
190g (7oz) plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
25g (1oz) M&S Collection 10% Greek yoghurt
2 tbsp M&S Mexican Wildflower honey
1 tsp ground cinnamon
60g (2oz) M&S Collection caramelised pecans, roughly chopped
60g M&S natural jumbo raisin medley
For the honey syrup
2 tbsp M&S Mexican Wildflower honey
To decorate:
A handful of M&S Collection caramelised pecans
