Sari and Gary McWhir were among more than 400 students and young professionals enjoying Purim in Seville with the European Centre for Jewish Students.
The couple met at ECJS' Purim event in Milan in 2008 and are now married. They are expecting their first child this summer.
Participants came to Spain from more than 20 countries, including Britain, Russia, Italy, Romania and the United States.
They toured the city and enjoyed Spanish Shabbat meals. Speakers included Rabbi Menachem Sebbag, chief Jewish chaplain to the Armed Forces of the Netherlands.
