Every Apprentice candidate arrives in Lord Sugar's boardroom with the same bravado and the same boasts of business brilliance.
The fun is, of course, watching them fail to live up to their own billing. This year will be no different.
So what chances do the two Jewish contenders have of showing Lord Sugar there is some substance behind the bluster?
Ella Jade Bitton seems a bit bland to me. I can see her being pushed aside by stronger candidates sooner rather than later. It will be interesting if she can prove that her mild exterior hides the inner steel needed to progress.
Daniel Lassman has more of a fighting chance, judging from early observation. He has all the standard traits of male candidates: feigned self-assurance and a pumped-up, take-no-prisoners approach.
But he has solid business experience and the fact that he started off working on the markets may curry favour with Lord Sugar. I also think he could become an irritant to his fellow candidates, which will give the show's producers reason to keep him in, as the friction makes good television.
Other candidates to watch out for are glib northerner James Hill who will definitely butt heads with Mr Lassman.
Solicitor Lauren Riley brings the glamour and appears to have the brains to back it up, while posh Robert Goodwin, the marketing manager from Sussex, seems to have stepped off the set of Downton Abbey and should be good comic value.
My favorite to win is the impossibly positive Nurun Ahmed. The former marketing officer's CV suggests she is capable of handling a multitude of tasks, and I can forgive the inane grin that seems to accompany that ability.
