Series one - James Max

Max is perhaps the Jewish apprentice to have benefited most from the show. He was a chartered surveyor working in investment banking when he made it as far as the semi-final in 2005. He went on to develop a media career, appearing on LBC and Sky News.

Series two - Alexa Tilley and Samuel Judah

Tilley, 28, was fourth to be fired in 2006, impressing along the way in a task involving selling melons. She went straight back to management consultancy afterwards, although she had plans to set up a dating agency.
