A German university is teaching students that Israel has committed genocide and that the IDF harvests organs from Palestinians, it has been claimed.
Material entitled "Our sons were robbed of their organs" was included as part of a course about the situation facing Palestinian youths. The lessons were run at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts in Hildesheim, Lower Saxony, according to reports last Thursday.
Academic Rebecca Seidler was due to conduct the seminar. But after discovering the subject matter, she complained to the university's management.
Ms Seidler told the German-Jewish newspaper Jüdische Allgemeine Zeitung that the material showed "a picture of a genocide on the Palestinians, an ethnic cleansing, as well as a complete disenfranchisement of Palestinians by Israel".
Ms Seidler's criticisms of "antisemitic stereotypes" were dismissed by the university, whose president said an ethics commission had examined the seminar and found that it "in no way propagates antisemitic or anti-Israel content".
The Anti-Defamation League called the allegation of harvesting organs a "new blood libel".
