Men ‘planned to blow up Jewish institutions’ in South Africa

articlemain

Two brothers have been charged with conspiring to blow up Jewish buildings in South Africa.

The brothers – twins Brandon-Lee and Tony-Lee Thulsie – and two other people who are yet to be charged, were also accused of plotting to blow up a US mission.

Provisional reports say the brothers may have had links to Daesh and had been under surveillance for nearly a year. They were arrested while boarding a flight to Syria.

They will have an opportunity to apply for bail later this month.
