A manhunt is under way in Norway after two men fled a police stop-and-search near a synagogue in Trondheim on Thursday.
One of the suspects sped away from police in the car they had been travelling in and was arrested after a motorway chase that ended near Svorkmo, about an hour away.
The other suspect leapt out of the car at the scene and ran away on foot, carrying what police said may have been a bag.
A manhunt is now under way for him, although police said on Friday they believed they had identified him and that he did not pose a threat to the synagogue.

John Arne Moen, chairman of the Jewish community in Trondheim (DJST), told Norwegian news website VG earlier on Thursday that "there is an ongoing police operation at the synagogue."
A neighbour described a large police presence, with officers wearing bulletproof vests, helmets, and carrying rifles.
"We understand that people may be concerned about incidents like this related to the synagogue, but we want to reassure and reassure our residents that the situation is under control and would like to emphasise that it is safe for residents of Trondheim city centre," the police said in a statement.
The arrested suspect will remain in police custody for questioning. The police said that the car he had been driving was stolen.
A journalist from a local newspaper reported that an event was under way at the synagogue at the time.
