A Dutch national living in Ireland has been jailed after expressing support for Isis and saying he wants to behead Jews.

Shmael Heirouche, 40, was sentenced to five years after pleading guilty to a charge of threatening to kill or cause serious harm, according to the Irish Independent.

He was sentenced on Wednesday at Cork Circuit Criminal Court.

Heirouche told his French housemates saying that Isis terror attacks in France gave him “great joy,” and that those who carried out the attacks would “get a first class ticket” to paradise, according to the report.

At the time of his arrest he told officers that he had a sword he would use cut off the heads of Jews.

Heirouche, who is of Moroccan ancestry, was diagnosed as schizophrenic in Holland. However, the judge at the Cork court Judge said society had to be protected.
