‘Hyper Cacher weapons supplier’ arrested in Spain

articlemain

Spanish police have arrested a man who allegedly sold weapons to the terrorist responsible for attacks on a kosher supermarket in Paris last year.

According to a statement issued by the Spanish police, a 27-year-old man from France, identified as Antoine Denevi, was detained in Malaga on Tuesday at the request of French authorities.

Mr Denevi is suspected of heading a weapons trafficking ring that provided arms to Amedy Coulibaly, who killed four hostages and injured two policemen during the attack on the Hyper Cacher supermarket in January 2015.
