Four out of five British Jews polled feel that antisemitism is a major problem in British politics, according to the world’s largest survey of Jewish people.

Of those surveyed by EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) in Britain, 84 per cent said antisemitism in political life was a very, or fairly big problem - more than 10 per cent higher than average for the 12 EU countries surveyed.

The survey found that 75 per cent of British Jews felt that antisemitism was a very big or fairly big problem in wider society. The figure is up from 48 per cent in the last survey in 2012.

Nearly a third of British Jews said they have considered leaving the UK because they do not feel safe here.
