Five wounded in West Bank attack

Five Israelis have been wounded in a West Bank car-ramming and stabbing Attack.

According to emergency services MDA, a car ramming was reported in the West Bank at the Tapuah Junction towards Huwara, on Sunday morning.

A driver was seen accelerating towards civilians who were standing at a near by hitchhiking spot.

Initial police reports indicate border Police opened fire and killed the attacker on site.

Two of the casualties are believed to be seriously wounded, including a 22-year-old man, currently in surgery.

The third casualty, 21, was moderately wounded and the fourth is thought to have minor injuries.

MDA spokesperson, Zaki Heller, said: "Medics and paramedics assisted IDF paramedics on scene in treating the three wounded, including two in critical condition,"

The victims were taken to Beilinson Hospital in Petah Tikva.

Following the car ramming an Israeli was lightly wounded in a stabbing attack at the West Bank settlement of Beitar Illit,

A female attacker was shot at the scene.
