Eight people, including six children, killed as two cars crash near the Dead Sea

Eight people, including six children, have died after two cars crashed near the Dead Sea, authorities have said.

The head-on collision happened on Route 90 between the Ein Gedi park and the Dead Sea

One of the cars involved reportedly caught fire.

Ambulance service MDA tweeted a picture from the scene.
