Student protestors at the University of Michigan have been filmed chanting anti-Zionist slogans, calling for a violent intifada and the annihilation of the State of Israel.

Clips of the protestors showed them marching through the University’s Ann Arbor campus chanting, “Intifada, intifada! Long live the intifada!” through a megaphone.

Another protestor leading the column held a sign that read: “There is only one solution!”

The protestors, who waved Palestinian flags and held homemade signs, were allegedly part of the pro-Palestinian campus group called Students Allied for Freedom and Equality.

They were heard chanting the well-known anti-Israel call to arms: “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free.”

The rally was reportedly organised in response to Vice President Kamala Harris’ visit to the campus on Thursday, where she spoke about student activism, environmental justice and climate policy across the United States.

“Kamala, Kamala, you can’t hide, you’re committing genocide,” the protestors chanted outside the auditorium where Harris was speaking.

The group attacked the Biden administration for providing $3.8 billion in military aid and cooperation to the “Israeli apartheid regime”.

In footage shared on Twitter, one protestor claimed the “Zionist entity… continue its ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in occupied territories.”

“The Biden-Harris administration, much like its predecessors… is complicit in the erasure of Palestinian people and their homeland,” the protestor said.

In another video shared to social media, the protestors yelled: "Not another nickel, not another dime, no more money for Israel’s crimes.”

Vice President Harris has long been an outspoken supporter of Israel. While she was running to be the 2020 Democratic nomination for president, she referred to Israel as “one of America’s closest allies”, which would always receive America’s “unwavering support.”

As Joe Biden’s running mate, she said: “Joe [Biden] has made it clear he will not tie security assistance to any political decisions that Israel makes, and I couldn’t agree more. The Biden Harris administration will sustain our unbreakable commitment to Israel’s security,”

Her husband, Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff, is the first Jewish spouse of a sitting Vice President.

The demonstration was also condemned by Jewish politician Jared Moskowitz who tweeted: "Using Hitler's word “solution” is intentional here. Israel has a right to exist. We will never compromise that. The Jewish people have a right to exist. We will endure."
