Maccabi Tel Aviv has said that its fans will not accept tickets to the club's upcoming match against Aston Villa, even if the ban on their attendance is reversed.

The clash, scheduled for November 6 at Villa Park, has been thrust into the national spotlight after the local council and West Midlands Police banned Maccabi fans from coming, citing security concerns.

The decision has drawn condemnation from the prime minister, as well as multiple opposition figures, with the government working to overturn the decision.

But Maccabi has now confirmed that it will not send a contingent of supporters even if a change is secured.
