The Prime Minister, his wife, and other senior members of the government have attended services at West London Synagogue this evening after a deadly day of terror in a Manchester synagogue, which left two dead and several others wounded.
Sir Keir Starmer, his wife Victoria, the Chancellor Rachel Reeves, and Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper were spotted by congregants at the prestigious Central London synagogue, attending services at the end of Yom Kippur.
I’m told the PM, Foreign Secretary and Chancellor of the Exchequer all attended the West London synagogue this evening to give comfort to the Jewish community. I’m not sure how they were received. pic.twitter.com/T2unbWvTDu

Earlier this evening, the Prime Minister made a public address in which he promised to “do everything in my power to guarantee the security that you deserve, starting with a more visible police presence protecting your community.”
The Prime Minister flew back from a European leaders' summit in Denmark earlier today after receiving news of the terror attack at the Heaton Park Hebrew congregation. Sir Keir then chaired a Cobra meeting in 10 Downing Street before addressing the British public shortly before 6pm.
