Former Apprentice contestant Dr Asif Munaf, has been referred to the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service, the watchdog for British medics, after being accused of making a series of anti-Zionist social media posts.

Munaf, who qualified as a doctor at the University of Hull under the name Mohammed Asif Munaf, was suspended from practising medicine pending the conclusion of a full investigation by the General Medical Council in February 2024, after complaints were made about his posts.

A spokesperson for the GMC told the JC: “The General Medical Council has referred Dr Mohammed Asif Munaf to a Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service hearing.

“Dr Munaf has been on interim suspension since 22 February 2024, meaning he is not able to treat patients.”
