Nigel Farage has been revealed to have endorsed "New World Order" conspiracy theories linked to antisemitism.

In an interview with Revelation TV, an evangelical Christian channel, the Brexit Party laid claimed firms such as Goldman Sachs "see the European Union as basically the forerunner of global government".

He added: "It’s pretty clear who the enemy is as far as I’m concerned – the enemy are these giant multinational businesses are prepared to basically take down our democratic systems...

"If you really look at it: what percentage of the UK actually believe in the United States of Europe, actually believe in this New World Order?"

Referring to migrants crossing the Mediterranean to reach Europe, Mr Farage said: "“If we allow it to continue, we will actually, through our compassion, imperil the future of our civilisation.”

The discussion was uncovered by Hope Not Hate, which said: "It’s not dog-whistle racism if you’re just coming out and saying it. This talk of ‘imperil our civilisation’ is the language more commonly heard from Farage’s far-right allies in Germany and Italy."

Mr Farage was recently condemned by Jewish groups for his use of "code words" in interviews with American conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

He told Mr Jones the EU was a prototype for a "new world order" and also claimed “globalists have wanted to have some form of conflict with Russia as an argument for us all to surrender our national sovereignty and give it up to a higher global level”.

Antisemitism watchdog the Community Security Trust said Mr Farage's language were "familiar code words for antisemitic conspiracy theories".
