Business Secretary Sajid Javid was the keynote speaker at the British-Israeli Business Awards. In his address to the 250-strong audience at London's Millennium Hotel, he hailed a "golden era" of business ties between the UK and Israel. Award winners were: easyJet as British Company of the Year; optical inspection systems maker Orbotech as Israeli Company of the Year; Israeli mobile application start-up Zeek as Most Promising; online marketer XLMedia was awarded Israeli Listed Company of the Year; and retail magnate Sir Harry Solomon received the Lifetime Achievement award.
