Jewish actor Isla Fisher has moved on from her ex-husband Sacha Baron Cohen and is dating a South African former professional footballer, it is understood.
Fisher, who converted to Judaism prior to marrying fellow actor Baron Cohen in 2010, is believed to be dating Larry Cohen, 38, with the two photographed embracing outside Electric House, a plush private members club on Portobello Road, in west London, last Saturday.

Fisher – who rose to fame on the Australian soap opera Home and Away before making a name for herself in Hollywood in the 2005 film Wedding Crashers – and Baron Cohen, 54, announced their separation in 2024, revealing they had jointly filed to end their marriage the previous year. Their divorce was finalised last summer.
The former footballer believed to be Fisher’s new beau, was born and raised in Johannesburg, where he attended the Jewish King David High School Linksfield. The defender signed his first professional football contract when he was 19 years old and went on to play for what was then known as Ajax Cape Town FC – now Cape Town Spurs FC – before retiring.

In 2004, prior to her wedding to Baron Cohen, Fisher told the London Evening Standard: “I will definitely have a Jewish wedding just to be with Sacha. I would do anything – move into any religion – to be united in marriage with him.
“We have a future together, and religion comes second to love as far as we are concerned.”
Since their split, she has told US magazine New Beauty: “It has been a really challenging time. I definitely feel like there's something about the divorce club that anyone in it understands in a way other people don't. It's a different grief.”
However, she added: "I feel like creating a new identity after your divorce is so fun, though. You get to reflect on your values and goals, explore new interests, focus on what you want and rebuild your sense of self.”
Baron Cohen has been linked with a US model and content creator, Hannah Palmer, 27, following the split.
