Three hundred supporters were attracted to the Millennium Hotel in central London for the Langdon annual awards dinner. BBC journalist Emily Maitlis, the evening's compere, told the guests: "Over the years, I've had the privilege of getting to know Langdon, its work and its members and I really feel like one of the family." The evening, a celebration of the achievements of Landgon members, raised £400,000 for the charity's added value services - those not covered by the care paid for by local authorities.
