The Prime Minister’s wife, Sarah Brown, hosted a Downing Street reception for the Jewish Museum. The event was held to say “thank you” to 80 of the museum’s patrons who have supported its development project to expand its site in Camden, north London. Mrs Brown spoke about the importance of the museum, its role in stamping out racism and how the project will create a world-class museum. Lady Wendy Levene, chair of the museum’s development committee, thanked the project’s contributors
