A Leeds crowd gets in the pink to raise funds for charities

Pink socks, ties, carnations, evening gloves, jewellery and frocks were very much in evidence at Leeds' Sinai Synagogue's Pink Ball. The event kicked off with Israeli dancing and included a buffet dinner with champagne cocktails. Money raised on the night will go towards synagogue funds and a donation wlll also be made to the charity appeals of the Lord Mayors of Manchester and Leeds. The event, held at the synagogue's Malcolm Featherman Hall, attracted a 70-strong crowd of revellers.
