US and Israeli forces have targeted senior regime figures and strategic installations across the country as the IDF issued Farsi-language warnings urging citizens to stay clear of military sites to reduce civilian harm.
Iranian media reported explosions in Tehran, Tabriz, Isfahan, Kermanshah, Qom and Karaj, including sites linked to the Intelligence Ministry, the Defence Ministry, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran and the Parchin military complex. The IDF said hundreds of targets were struck across the country, including missile launchers in western Iran, and released aerial footage showing some of the strikes.
According to Hebrew media, Israeli officials confirmed that strikes targeted Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, and President Masoud Pezeshkian, along with other senior political and military figures. The outcome remains unclear.
Israel’s Channel 12, citing unnamed sources, reported that Israeli officials assess the operation has achieved “very high success” in degrading senior leadership. The report stated also that presidential facilities were struck and that the Supreme Leader’s palace had been completely destroyed.
Satellite imagery published by The New York Times reportedly shows significant destruction at Khamenei’s compound in Tehran.
We obtained the first known satellite image of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's compound in Tehran. There are several destroyed buildings. While the current whereabouts of Iran's supreme leader are unknown, the compound is generally used as his official residence. 🛰️📸: @Airbus pic.twitter.com/48krjclMBL

Reuters, citing Iranian sources close to the regime, reported that several senior Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commanders and high-ranking political officials were killed. Tehran has denied those reports.
Among those reportedly killed is IRGC commander Gen. Mohammad Pakpour, appointed after his predecessor was eliminated during last year’s 12-day conflict. Iranian authorities deny he is dead.
In a pointed step, the IDF issued evacuation warnings directly to Iranian civilians in Farsi, urging them to leave areas near weapons production factories and military infrastructure. IDF International Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani posted on X:
“The message is very clear:
We are fighting the Iranian Terror regime and its military force directed at our annihilation, not the brave people of Iran.”
The IDF warning in Farsi read:
“To all individuals who are inside or in the vicinity of military weapons production factories and military infrastructure facilities across Iran:
You are located near weapons and military facilities that are considered dangerous.
Dear citizens, for your safety and well-being, we urge you to immediately evacuate these areas and remain outside of them until further notice.
Your presence in these locations puts your lives at risk.”
