Israel will be the latest country to get Google’s Street View, despite security concerns about the service.

According to Ynet, the Justice Ministry has approved the service which has been running since 2007 in the US and rolled out to Australia, South Africa, Japan and most European countries, including the UK.

Because of anxieties about how the system could be used by potential terrorists, the Justice Ministry asked Google to provide detailed clarifications about how the service would be built.

Some names of properties will be blurred and sensitive facilities will not be filmed.
