Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the Israel Defense Forces to attack Hezbollah targets “with force” after the Iran-backed terror group launched several rockets and UAVs toward northern Israeli communities on Saturday, in violation of the US-brokered ceasefire with Beirut.

The IDF reported that one rocket was intercepted after air-raid sirens sounded on Saturday afternoon in Kibbutz Manara, Misgav Am and Moshav Margaliot. A second rocket landed in an open area in northern Israel.

“There are no casualties; this is a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement by the Hezbollah terrorist organisation,” the military said.

Around an hour later, further alerts were triggered across parts of the north following a suspected drone infiltration.
