More rockets were fired at Israel from Gaza early on Tuesday morning after a lull during the night in the violence that killed four people on Monday.

A man, said by Israeli media to be from the Palestinian city of Hebron in the West Bank, was killed and two women were critically injured on Monday when a rocket struck a house in Ashkelon.

Three Palestinians in Gaza were killed as Israeli planes attacked Hamas and Islamic Jihad targets in the most serious outbreak of violence since the 2014 war.

Palestinian militants launched 370 rockets and missiles, wounding 70 Israelis including a 19-year old soldier who was critically injured after an anti-tank missile hit an Israeli bus.
