A Palestinian man was shot dead by the IDF on Monday, following a night of air strikes and rocket fire across Israel’s border with Gaza.

Israeli warplanes struck nine Hamas targets in two military compounds in Gaza as well as a weapons facility late on Sunday.

The IDF said it was in response to three rockets fired at Israeli neighbourhoods near the territory.

Hours later on Monday, a 24-year-old Palestinian man was killed by IDF gunfire on the border.
