Israeli hostage Idan Shtivi, who was previously believed to be alive in Hamas captivity, was murdered during the terror group’s attack on October 7, 2023 and his body taken to Gaza, Israeli TV’s Channel 12 reported today on the first anniversary of the massacre.

Shtivi, 28, was murdered by terrorist infiltrators along with his friends while they were attempting to escape from the Nova music festival near Kibbutz Re’im in southern Israel.

He was considered missing until early January when his family officially learned he was abducted. On Monday morning, they were informed of his death.

The IDF said that Shtivi was declared dead based on new intelligence.
