Former Likud minister Gideon Sa’ar is re-launching his political career.
The former interior minister will reportedly make his return to the political fray official on Monday evening at a pre-Passover Likud event in the northern city of Acre.
Mr Sa’ar, widely seen as a major potential challenger to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, resigned from the Knesset in October 2014, saying he wanted to spend more time with his family.
He has a strong following among Likud voters and is seen as likely candidate to launch a "moderate" version of the party; hawkish on security, but liberal on social issues.
