Ofsted has reaffirmed the status of Sinai Primary in Kenton as a good school after a short inspection.
Headteacher Juliette Lipshaw, who was appointed two years ago, was told she had created “a harmonious, inclusive and outward-looking ethos” - and with her governors had led the school on a “journey of change and improvement”.
Links with local community schools had broadened the experience of teachers. Religious studies was creatively taught with links made to the national curriculum wherever possible.
Inspectors also praised the school for being fully inclusive and not compromising on support for children with special educational needs.
Although a new approach to maths had improved understanding, Ofsted sought faster progress but recognised that the school’s leadership was clear on the steps needed to achieve this.
