"It was tough conditions out there in the heat and we had five or six first team regulars out. We did manage to give debuts to four new signings which was great and it was particularly pleasing to see both Bentley brothers in the blue of Oakwood making excellent starts.

Once we settled down we played some nice stuff in spells, Dan Ash playing wide right, in particular was the best player on the pitch and was at the heart of all good attacking play.

"To be honest we looked solid too until a spell midway through the second half when they got in round the back of us a couple of times and eventually made us pay with a well worked goal to be fair.

"I gambled with 10 to go, going three at the back and throwing on a young, raw talent in Rafi Bloom up front for his debut. This did the trick as Rafi caused all sorts of problems for their back line and tucked away an equaliser with two minutes to go after a nice move.

"We missed a couple of clear chances in the second half and our keeper made a couple of excellent saves but I think the draw was a fair result.

"We now have two solid draws to build on in our first season in the top flight and fully expect to register some wins in the near future.

"We'll enjoy the break now and look forward to the Raiders game in a few weeks. We'll have a few players back which will be a bonus and Vic Librae has scored two in two for our B team so he'll be pushing for a place I'm sure."

Brady boss Joel Nathan told JC Sport: "Overall I'm disappointed as we let Oakwood score with virtually last kick of the match when we let our concentration slip, however on reflection a draw was probably the correct result as I felt we controlled the game for most periods but didn't create enough while Oakwood missed some clear chances."
