The evergreen Malcolm Newman was among the scorers as Brady made easy work of Division Three promotion hopefuls London Rovers.
Class told in the end as first division Brady ran in four goals, with Reiss Mogilner, Matt Frohlich and Sam Monjack easing Brady home.
Interim Brady boss Elliot Dagul told JC Sport: "Obviously we are delighted to be in the next round of the cup, but we never really got going.
"It wasn't a vintage performance by any stretch of the imagination but you take a win no matter how it comes, especially considering Ben Hildebrand and myself had to play a half each in goal!"
Brady defender Henry Ziff added: "Not a great performance, but we will take the three points and we look forward to the next round #1T1D."
Rovers boss Jeremy Brown told JC Sport: "The scoreline didn't reflect the game today, and I think Brady would agree. That was a great game of football and a proper cup tie. Both teams played some good football.
"It's just a shame that we got it to 2-1 at 65 minutes and really went for it. We even hit the bar from a great Adam Kay free-kick but then they caught us twice on the break to kill it off.
"We never gave up and I'm really proud of my team today for showing that we can mix it with the big boys. Now we put all our focus into the league where we really want to try and challenge to win it, so the hard work starts now."
