A penalty from Josh Cooper helped FC Team C overturn a half-time deficit to beat a battling Boca Jewniors 2-1 in MGBSFL Division Two.
Boca dominated first half and deservedly went ahead through Josh Webber after latching on to a flick on to a ball over the Team defence.
Team rallied superbly in the second half and levelled when a deep free-kick into the penalty area was volleyed in by left-back James Milman.
The visitors camped out in the Boca half for the whole of second period and deservedly got the winner from the penalty spot after a handball. Josh Cooper confidently powering the penalty into the net.
FC Team's David Gordon told JC Sport: "We were not in the game in the first half and we could have no complaints about the score line, but the second half was as good as we have played so far this season.
"Our defence held firm, and we were not troubled by even one shot, whilst going forward we were great and created plenty of chances.
"We deserved the points and it’s good to know we can dig in and get a result when we need to."
Boca's Anton Nyman told JC Sport: "We started really brightly and took a 1-0 lead into the half time break following some dominance across the pitch.
"Unfortunately we carried a tad of complacency into the second half and FC Team upped the gears, got the early second half goal and put us on the back foot.
"In a game of limited chances, they got the killer winner from the penalty spot after a handball went against us.
"We need to dust ourselves down and get back in the driving seat next Sunday now."
