Storm Dennis relented and the teams stepped out on 3G at Abraham Moss. A scrappy first half was brought to life with an incredible run from deep in his own half by Reich full-back Alex Harris, who then unleashed an unstoppable shot from 30 yards and Blues' debutante goalkeeper Benji Cope, 16, could only watch go into the top corner of the net.

Reich fully deserved their lead, however it was short-lived as a mix up at the back between defender and Reich keeper Leo Addleman gifted Blues an equaliser from Elliott Wallis to make it 1-1 at half-time.
